These terms cover your use of discountbakeryequip.com and the quotes, orders and services you arrange with Discount Bakery Equipment ("we", "us"), 631 W Cherry St, Wayland, MI 49348. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them. Anything we agree with you in writing for a specific order, such as a signed quote or invoice, takes priority over these general terms.
Quotes and prices
- Prices on the site are listed for reference and may change without notice. Many items are priced by quote.
- A quote is valid for the time stated on it. Without a stated time, it is subject to availability and our confirmation when you order.
- Used and rebuilt inventory moves fast. An item is sold only when we confirm your order and payment, so please call to check stock.
- We may correct errors in descriptions, photos or prices, including after you've requested a quote.
Orders and payment
- An order is accepted when we confirm it in writing or send an invoice.
- We accept major credit and debit cards. Card payments carry a 4% convenience fee.
- Financing, where offered, comes from independent third-party lenders under their own terms. We are not a lender and do not extend credit.
Shipping, delivery and installation
- We ship nationwide. Orders over $1,200 ship free within the continental US unless a quote says otherwise. Other freight is quoted before you commit.
- Delivery dates are estimates. Inspect equipment on delivery and note any visible damage on the carrier's paperwork before signing.
- Because installing larger equipment is complex, we install larger equipment only in the Midwest US. Installation, rigging and site preparation are quoted separately.
Condition, warranty and returns
- New equipment carries the manufacturer's warranty, where one applies.
- Rebuilt and used equipment is sold in the condition and with any warranty stated on its listing, quote or invoice. If none is stated, it is sold as-is.
- Our return policy varies by product. We'll give you the terms for a specific product before you buy, and those terms apply to that order.
Service, parts and equipment we buy
- Service, rebuilding and parts work is quoted per job. Estimates may change once equipment is opened up, and we'll check with you before going over.
- When you sell or consign equipment to us, the terms we agree in writing for that equipment apply.
Using this site
- Content on this site, including text, photos and logos, belongs to us or to the brands we represent. Don't copy it for commercial use without permission. Brand names and logos belong to their owners.
- Don't misuse the site or its forms, for example by sending spam or trying to break its security.
- Information you send through our forms is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we're not liable for lost profits, lost production or other indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that can't be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.
